What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

In lieu of wedding registry gifts, model Kate Bock and Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Love opted for their wedding guests—like Adele, LeBron James, and Steve Nash—to donate to Kevin’s mental health organization, the Kevin Love Fund. Adding a charitable option on a registry is a great way to help causes that are close to the couple’s hearts. As Kate never made an actual wedding registry, her Over The Moon Dream Registry is a peek inside her and Kevin’s interior design aesthetic and is sure to inspire couples headed down the aisle.

The New York City-based model was inspired by old-school Manhattan (specifically the 1920s-1960s) for her nuptials at the New York Public Library. She put together a mood board for the wedding’s aesthetic, featuring mostly black and white imagery, which informed the black and white dress code.

Kate creates mood boards a lot when she wants to communicate how she wants something to look and feel. “I am constantly saving different images and putting them in different categories in my phone and on my computer, so when a project comes up, I already have a huge database to select images from,” she explains. “I really find creating boards helps me clarify exactly what I mean.”

Style-wise, Kate is a big fan of modern, clean lines but also loves the textures and patterns interior designer and architect Kelly Wearstler uses. “Kevin and I have also been working with our decorator, Kerry Varnum, for years now and multiple projects,” Kate shares. “I think the consistency and really getting to know the people you’re working with helps so much. We can now almost read each other’s minds. I also love Adam Jordan & Howard Backen as architects and follow their work closely.”

Kate and Kevin fortunately have similar design tastes. “We both like modern mountain, earth tones, Ralph Lauren, approachable style,” she says. And since they already share a home, Kate’s Dream Registry is filled with items to give their space a fresh update and make memories with. “I chose a lot of home items. I think [the Over The Moon] registry is an opportunity to get some really special forever type pieces to start off your life together. Many of the pieces I chose are pieces that I thought we would use regularly and keep forever.”

Particularly, the recent bride is so excited about the Match frames to highlight her wedding photos in. And the Francesca Miranda Duo Backgammon set, Aerin Antonin Objet, and the Aerin Sphere Match Striker are elegant and elevating decor pieces for her setting. The Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare experience packages are also special gifts; she gifted Glow Kits to her bachelorette party crew. “I love how curated the options were on Over The Moon,” Kate gushes.

The model leaves us with key advice for couples creating their own registries now for the firs time: “I think you need to think of forever pieces. Keep those special items and memories connected to the people who gift them to you, i.e. every time you look at that vase, you think of Aunt Jane.”
