What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Lindsey Kate Metselaar, the voice and mind behind the popular relationship podcast We Met At Acme, and Steven Thomas Greene recently got married on February 12, 2022, at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. She wore incredible looks from Mira Zwillinger, Danielle Frankel, Happy Isles and more, and since she’s just gone through the registry process, Lindsey’s the perfect person to create and share her Dream Registry with us.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Greene!

For her real wedding registry, Lindsey admits she “had no idea where to start,” and took a lot of inspiration from her mother and mother-in-law. “I knew plates would be on there, but that’s about it!”

Lindsey wears a dress and gloves from Happy Isles in her favorite color to cut her wedding cake.

The podcast host describes her aesthetic as minimal, but anything that’s green is a yes for her. When it came to decorating her New York City space, she turned to her interior designer friend for advice. “I really wanted to have a white couch and kind of worked around that making sure there were accent pieces and pops of color around it,” Lindsey explains.

And in regards to merging her and her husband’s styles, she says that hers tends to take priority. “His [style] is questionable,” Lindsey jokes. “He has control over his office, and that’s about it.”

For her Dream Registry, the Zodiac plates were a must, since Lindsey is very into astrology. “It’s the perfect accent for our home!” she exclaims. And she loves the ceramic pie dish because she’s big on baking sweets. The self-proclaimed excellent guacamole maker also chose the extra small olive wood mortal and pestle because “it’s truly the perfect tool.”

Moving to wall accents, the small Capri mirror was an easy add to the registry because it reminds Lindsey and Steven of their engagement trip to Capri. And because Lindsey grew up with Morgan of Morgan Lane, she had to shout out the brand’s Ruthie Emerald PJ set. “Her PJs are the softest and cutest out there,” Lindsey states.

The newlywed leaves us with important advice for couples creating their own wedding registries for the first time: “Don’t be afraid to defer to a friend or parent that has done this before—and no need to put trinkets under $50 there because this is your chance to shoot for the stars!”
