What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Style expert and host of the podcast “Let’s Get Dressed” Liv Perez will be saying, “I do,” to real estate firm COO Alex Nachum on July 13, 2024, in The Cotswolds. While we wait in anticipation of the grand multi-day milestone event, Liv is sharing her Over The Moon Dream Registry.

The couple, who are both Angelinos, tend to gravitate toward Spanish-style interiors and architecture—think Nancy Meyers-esque. Liv and Alex’s home is traditional with a mix of vintage—lots of wood, layers, and interesting textiles. “We’re also lucky enough to live near our families—we actually live across the street from Alex’s childhood home—so our home holds many childhood heirlooms,” Liv explains. “The pillows on our couch are actually made from an old tapestry in my childhood home. For us, it’s all about mixing the old with the new.”

Aesthetically, the couple are nearly matched exactly and love Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors. “I’ll never forget coming across Alex’s secret Pinterest page about a year into our relationship and seeing a board of his dream homes that was almost identical to mine—thankfully,” Liv says. “We have a really collaborative approach—he focuses on comfort, while I focus on aesthetic, and we meet somewhere in the middle.”

When it came time to curating her Dream Registry, Liv immediately highlighted the Sophie Lou Jacobsen Totem glasses, which are already in her home. “When we got engaged, I bought the tableware set from the hotel we were staying at,” she shares. “Now I use it every day, and it reminds me of that special time in our lives. These are so different and unique and won’t only be a crowd pleaser when you host but also remind you of your special moment too.”

Finally, Liv leaves us with important words of advice for those creating their own Over The Moon Registries today: “First, make a list of things you really need in your day to day life. In case you need a little inspiration, in our registry you’ll find everything from the best sheets to classic decor pieces, to the perfect tableware for entertaining. Second, there’s no one size fits all when it comes to registries. I love a registry that feels like the couple, whether it’s through interesting art or pieces for the home that’s a reflection of your style and relationship. Don’t be afraid to add in something that’s unique to your life together!”
