What makes the perfect registry? Our Dream Registry series answers just that, providing an endless source of inspiration for those putting together their own Over The Moon registries. We enlisted the help of some of our most stylish and in-the-know friends—whether they’re single, engaged, or already married. (Because we’re taking a page from Carrie Bradshaw’s playbook and saying one should be able to register for Manolos no matter what their relationship status!) Peek inside the registries of tastemakers, from editors and stylists to wedding planners and beyond. Your dream registry is just a click away.

Madison Snider, the founder and lead designer of Brooklyn-based fine jewelry brand Fewer Finer, created her real wedding registry on Over The Moon. The bride-to-be and her fiancé, Richard Podprika, are getting married at High Hampton in North Carolina on September 17, 2022. “I looked at a few different registry websites and was drawn to Over the Moon because it was such a beautiful shopping experience,” she gushes. “I loved that I could add things from any site I love, rather than just from the typical registry places. I also loved that on OTM there is a big focus on home and interiors, because we are moving soon and I am happy to add to our home more than our kitchen—since that’s an area where we already have more than everything we need!”

The jewelry designer describes her aesthetic as “collected, thoughtful, and lived-in.” When it comes to decorating her living spaces, she loves collecting pieces that are old and new. “I have lived in smaller NYC spaces for long enough that I feel strongly about loving every single piece that is in our home,” she says. Madison is also a huge fan of Athena Calderone for interior inspiration.

“Luckily, Rich is really happy for me to take the lead in the design of most things in our home, but he does tell me if he doesn’t like something, which I like the feedback of,” Madison says. She was very excited to add candlesticks to her Dream Registry. “I love setting the table and lighting candles for every dinner— even if it’s takeout.”

For her new home, Madison has been all about stripes, so the Byron throw blanket was a must-add. And the pair love to cook together more than anything, so the Miyabi chef’s knife will get a lot of great usage.

Madison leaves us with advice for couples creating their registries for the first time: “I would recommend starting it earlier, even if you don’t share it with people until later on. This gives you time to put things on, consider them, remove items you may have included impulsively, and add products that you may need in your life but could give your friends and family the opportunity to gift you!”
