It would’ve been nice to have saved them in this beautiful book that I eventually could’ve passed down to my kids.”
Alexandra first met LouLou after she featured her wedding on Vogue. Their love for illustration and shared aesthetic, meant the two quickly hit it off, and soon they started talking about ways they could work together. “She lives in D.C., and I’m based in New York, and we’d only met in person briefly, but throughout the process we would write each other back and forth like pen pals, but via text message, on what the book should look like,” explains Alexandra. “Needless to say, we became fast friends, and the book was very much a labor of love.”
