Jared and Kiley Vinik don’t have an adorable meet-cute, or a first-date story, or even a real first memory together. Rather, the world brought them together time and again until things finally clicked. “We seemed to run into each other at the same parties for years before we eventually started remembering each other’s names,”  Kiley says. “We started really dating during Covid. Our first Valentine’s Day together was spent in the freezing cold, dining outside in Brooklyn with masks on, eating spicy Thai food.” Almost exactly five years later to the day, they’d be saying “I do.”

And this time, it wouldn’t be cold. For their weeklong destination wedding, Kiley and Jared chose Jumby Bay, a private island a few miles off the coast of Antigua. “Jared grew up vacationing at Jumby Bay with his family; it is without a doubt his favorite place on Earth,” Kiley says. “It’s one of those places that you see for the first time and immediately want to plan another trip to. We wanted the aesthetic to mimic the way Jumby feels: colorful, not too serious, but a little ethereal, too. Jared’s mom, Penny, has always thrown super iconic, colorful, fun parties; we wanted all the colors and artistry to make her proud.”

The duo enlisted Over The Moon The List Planner Beth Helmstetter to plan the festivities. OTM Bride Rachel Santos of Bushwhacked and videographer Aziz Studios captured every moment.

Fashion would be a central component of their wedding week. “Jared and I love clothes,” the bride says. “For each of the events throughout the wedding week, I worked with Carrie and Lex at CLG Creative. They sourced the most colorful, playful, epic selection. I still pinch myself that those were my outfits.” The trousseau began with the welcome party, where both bride and groom wore white: Kiley in a two-piece set by Danielle Frankel and Jared in custom Bode, a label he would rock all weekend long.

For the beach party at Prickly Pear Beach, the bride wore a denim Acne bikini with Dries Van Noten board shorts. “I don’t think I have ever felt so cool,” Kiley says. “That night, we changed into slightly nicer clothes for our farm dinner; I wore Schiaparelli. At the rehearsal, Jared was once again in an epic Bode custom suit with incredibly intricate details that reminded us both of summer tablecloth edges. I wore a dress by Maticevski to dinner, and then changed into a Kate Willa beaded dress to dance at our after-party.”

For all the thought put into her looks, it’s especially notable that Kiley didn’t lock in her actual wedding dress until less than a month out from the wedding. “For the big day, I wore a Valentino dress that my stylists found three weeks before the wedding,” she says. “I tried it on, and it was immediately my dress. I loved that it was a soft pink color and how it moved in the wind. I went with my natural curly hair for the wedding day because I wanted to feel like myself.” Lina Mourey and MJ Snyder provided the beauty assist.

The Valentino was just the first of three wedding-day looks. “For our dinner and reception, I changed into an epic 1999 Spring/Summer Versace dress that felt very early 2000s—to match the energy of our surprise performer, of course,” Kiley says. “For the after-party, I wore a vintage Cinema set from Happy Isles that made me feel like a fairy.”

On February 22, 2025, the big day arrived, starting with a lawn ceremony overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Guests sat on rattan benches under striped beach umbrellas on either side of a 100-foot-long aisle. “We always say we have ‘big feelings,’ and that was certainly true during the ceremony,” Kiley remembers. “We were nervous walking down the aisle, but once we were up there together, it all felt a little easier. Our favorite thing about the wedding day was getting to hear each other’s vows in front of all our friends and family.”

The reception was right on the beach, where string lights twinkled over tables strewn with natural florals by Britlyn Simone Floral. Guests picked up custom bibs as place cards to protect their fashion-forward looks during the family-style feast, and pitchers of margaritas lined the tables alongside custom plates by artist Elsa Gladstone, who created unique elements for every event of the weekend.

“Instead of a traditional first dance, Jared and I performed a ‘first karaoke’ instead,” Kiley says. “Jared takes his karaoke very seriously, so it felt much more fitting.” They took the stage to perform Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’—and then the song was interrupted as the singer joined them onstage midway through to finish the song and open the dance floor. “The crowd quite literally went wild.”

Fireworks lit up the night, and then the crowd hopped on boats to a private-island after-party at The Hut at Little Jumby, where DJ Myd played a set that went until 4 a.m. “We honeymooned in Turks and Caicos,” Kiley says, “and our calves were sore from dancing at the after-party for the entire week-long honeymoon.”
