To celebrate Katie Sands Bochner and Brian Bochner’s first wedding anniversary last March, the television news anchor and lifestyle influencer shared her Dream Over The Moon Wedding Registry with us. Fast forward a little more than a year, and Katie is excitedly returning to share her Dream Baby Registry! “We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be welcoming a baby boy in September through IVF,” she shares. “Dealing with infertility can often take away the surprise element of pregnancy, so we opted to keep the gender a surprise for ourselves until the 12-week mark. We entrusted our fertility doctor, Dr. Lucky Sekhon, to select the healthiest embryo, and we’re overjoyed now knowing it’s going to be a baby boy!”
Katie and Brian’s little one will have a nursery that is either centered around a jungle or Central Park dog theme. “Given our shared love for animals, I’m excited to incorporate this into the nursery decor,” the mama-to-be says. “Additionally, I’m leaning towards using greens and neutrals rather than blues for the color palette.”
When Katie started curating her Dream Baby Registry, she let her instincts lead. “While I may not have chosen the most functional products, I prioritized those that were aesthetically pleasing and felt right for our lifestyle,” she states. “Must-have items on the registry definitely include the Frida Mom pieces, such as the disposable underwear and the baby bath. As Katie gears up to celebrate her first Mother’s Day as a mom-to-be, she shares that she’s “truly excited about everything” regarding motherhood. “Becoming a mom has always been a dream of mine, and the journey to motherhood wasn’t easy, so I’m trying to embrace every aspect of pregnancy—the ups and downs—and prepare myself for what’s to come,” she says. “If I’ve learned anything, it’s that resilience and determination can overcome any obstacle. I’m excited to embark on this incredible journey and welcome my little one into the world.”
