In July of 2022, Over The Moon Bride Ilana Torbiner walked down the aisle in Ojai and said, “I do,” to Max Torbiner. Two years later, the couple are expecting their first child—a baby girl—in the same month that they wed and are sharing their Dream Over The Moon Baby Registry. “The timing has felt so nice, and we’re so excited to have a summer baby,” Ilana shares. Name-wise, Ilana and Max have landed on a name but aren’t getting too attached. “Because you never know how I’ll feel the day-of!”
Aesthetically, Ilana expresses that she wants the “nursery to feel warm and sweet.” She goes on to say, “I opted for creams and reds, with some touches of light pink. As much as I love the look of wallpaper, I didn’t want to stray too far from my personal taste, and ultimately chose to incorporate touches of charming and nostalgic fabrics throughout the room instead. As far as her wardrobe goes, I know she’ll be wearing quite a bit of pointelle, whites, and cashmere. But I’m going to feel it out when I meet her!!”
When it came to her Dream Baby Registry, Ilana tried to incorporate a wide range of items—“some very practical,and other items were just things I couldn’t resist,” the mom-to-be says. “I’m currently working on the final touches of her nursery, so the little final accents are top of mind.”

As the due date nears, Ilana sweetly shares that she’s most excited for “all the newborn cuddles, hugs and kisses, and watching her develop into her own little person with her own personality. I also can’t wait to witness the sweetness of Max as a dad.”
Ilana leaves us with key advice for those making their own Over The Moon Baby Registries now: “Do what you want. Everyone has so many opinions and tips during this stage, but you need to just do what feels best for you. If that means building out your registry with only absolute essentials and practical gear, do that. If you just want adorable outfits, that works too.”
