On Sunday, talented actors and actresses were honored for their work in some of last year’s biggest movies. And while it’s always a treat to watch a good awards show—and even better to hear a rousing speech like the one delivered by Best Actress Frances McDormand—we would be lying if we didn’t admit that the Oscar’s red carpet is one of the things we most look forward to seeing every year. This time around, there were plenty of strong contenders for best dressed at the Academy Awards, but much like the acting nominees, we ultimately narrowed it down to the winners who made us want to be Hollywood royalty for just one night.
