Our Favorite Bridal-y Looks from Milan and Paris Fashion Week Fall 2019

Couples flock to Italy to get married, and Paris is of course known as the City of Love, so it’s not surprising that the runways in Milan and Paris were covered in romance. While the fall shows are usually a more practical affair tackling coats, boots, and knits, this season designers indulged in a little escapism and offered up dreamy dresses that could easily double as bridal gowns. There were straight up interpretations, like those bouquet-bearing brides at Dolce & Gabbana, or Alessandra Rich’s eighties-inspired mini wedding dress with a tulle veil. For those tying the knot in the colder months of the year, Balmain offered a lovely angora and feathered mini dress that would look chic at City Hall, while Escada’s ankle-length turtleneck gown was elevated with a fluttering, lace sleeve. Below, some more of our favorite bridal inspiration straight from Milan and Paris Fashion Week.
