Jenny Packham, a.k.a. Kate Middleton’s favorite high street brand, is also one of the most sought out British bridal designers out there. This week, she debuted her latest wedding collection, which recalls the fashion and decadent glamour of The Great Gatsby era. (She had us at “old sport.”) “[This] collection is inspired by a glamorous, twilight society, their heady abandon and insouciant elegance fueled by the hazy romance of a balmy summer’s evening,” reads the collection’s press release.
Packham’s “May” dress has a similar waist-cinched silhouette to that famous lace turquoise dress the Duchess of Cambridge once wore. While her “Violet” dress recalls the ethereal gown Kate Moss wore to her wedding to singer Jamie Hince. There were plenty of other standouts, particularly the beaded “Juniper” dress with a built-in capelet, a pale blue flowy design for those who prefer to skip the white, and several jumpsuit options that practically scream “after-party lewk.”
