Monique Lhuillier Bridal Fall 2020

By Shayna Seid

This season, Monique Lhuillier brought storybook romance in a luxury Italian villa to todays brides. Each of the 17 gowns featured feels very different but the collection is cohesive when presented at once. Long, dramatic trains and sweeping fabrics are consistent with nearly every look. The floral motifs are amplified for fall, with veils and gowns adorned with different flower prints—one veil even has blush 3-D pompoms. Off-the-shoulder is still very much an alluring style and at least half of what was presented highlighted this feature. For brides-to-be looking to switch up their looks throughout the night, there are detachable boleros and jackets mixed in, which seamlessly complement the gowns, instead of appearing like the separates that they are. Once again, Monique Lhuillier reminds us that she does aisle style so well.
