Now You Can Wear a Wedding Dress Inspired By a Famous Female Artist

For those who studied art history in college, or those who love heading to a museum on Sundays for a post-brunch stroll, there’s a new wedding dress collection that is certain to appeal. Floravere, the online bridal brand that ships dresses directly to your door to try on, has released a new line of beautiful (and affordable) wedding dresses inspired by the work of some of history’s most famous female artists.

One design named after Georgia O’Keefe, who was known for her paintings of orchids and calla lilies, features bold floral embroidery. A Yayoi Kusama-inspired dress features star-studded velvet, a tribute to her twinkle light exhibitions, which you’ve probably seen your friends sharing on Instagram. Sculptor Barbara Hepworth, French impressionist Berthe Morisot, and architect Zaha Hadid are a few of the other trailblazers that are paid tribute in Floravere’s new collection.

The line of thirteen dresses will be available on Floravere’s site this month. Dresses and jumpsuits are priced from $325 – $2,250 and available in sizes 0 – 28.
