Cobalt—it’s one of our favorite summer colors . . . because, to be honest, we’d do everything in a nautical blue striped if we could! That’s why we asked prop stylist extraordinaire Robin Verrier to create her perfect height of summer mood board in this rich, refreshing. It’s August after all, so we’re hitting the beach hard and as much as humanly possible, soaking in all of the sun, sand, and sea we can stand before September. Around the house, we’re displaying local flowers in vases we’ve been collecting and giving them all the attention they deserve by placing them in spots of honor and where house guests will get to enjoy them most. And at night, we’re taking a deep dive into all of those delicious summer novels we’ve been hoarding, relishing in as much down time as we can before the “back to school” drum march starts.
