In the lead-up to the release of Michelle Obama’s new memoir, Becoming, the former First Lady has been sharing a number of personal photos and memories on her Instagram account. After posting a couple of pictures of herself as a child and a college student in Princeton, Obama has finally graced us with a sneak peek at her wedding with Barack Obama.

In the cute photo, both Obamas are all smiles as Barack removes Michelle’s blue wedding garter in the middle of the dance floor. According to Michelle, “Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold.” But thankfully, the future president made a miraculous recovery and ended up dancing the night away. “Twenty five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can’t imagine going on the wild ride with anybody else.” Cue the sighs.
