February 14th falls on a Wednesday this year, meaning those with a full-time job will have to spend the majority of the holiday at work surrounded by co-workers. But don’t let that put a damper on your plans. If you’re feeling festive, go ahead and buy some conversation hearts—you’ll be the office favorite, for sure—and if you’re feeling extra romantic on Valentine’s Day, why not dress up in honor of the flirtatious holiday, too? Instead of wearing your heart on your sleeve, wear a heart-printed scarf or heart-shaped shoes. If you don’t want to come off as too twee, try mixing up a flowy pink top with feisty animal-print pants, or pair some pastel pink heels with a smart pencil skirt.  The point is to have fun with it, this is the one day of the year you can get away with wearing something adorable to work.
