A summer trip to Portugal was the inspiration behind Wes Gordon’s latest bridal line for Carolina Herrera. “This bridal collection, like the blue and white tiled walls of a Portuguese garden, is utterly romantic and as unique as it is timeless,” the designer wrote in the notes that accompanied his presentation in New York on Tuesday.

Large bows (a big trend this season on the runways) and intricate floral beading was prominent on several his designs, including a silk satin strapless gown and a modern, halter neck dress with a bias cut skirt. In this new fourteen looks, Gordon once again brought out what brides most love about Carolina Herrera: elegance, femininity, and unabashed glamour.
