As the final runway shows in New York Fashion Week concluded, we turned our attention to London, Milan, and Paris where the rest of the eagerly awaited FW24 collections beckoned. While we certainly continued to see the allure of reds, baby pinks, sequins, and other trends we first spotted in New York, the European shows introduced a plethora of new trends that captivated our attention.

Join us as we highlight the top trends that promise to inspire your upcoming nuptials. We’ve also handpicked a selection of must-have pieces to give you a head start on embodying these trends effortlessly right now. Dive in!

1. Gossamer Guise

There was an abundance of delicate sheer moments throughout fashion month, transitioning from lacy bits to full-on transparency. Designers added ruffles, interesting necklines, appliqué, and outerwear, crafting their own interpretations of this trend. We adore how this style exudes a blend of romance and sensuality, making it a seamless addition to bridal attire.

2. Gorgeous Greens

This season, shades of green dominated the runways, ranging from vibrant acidity to cool mint. While green may seem like a common fall color, these lively hues provided a refreshing departure from the expected. Whether integrated into your bridal party, decor, or weekend look, be prepared for your guests to turn green with envy!

3. Modern Lady

An homage to both real and imagined starlets – calling to mind, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, Betty Draper, and the Swans from The Feud. This trend evokes timeless glamour reminiscent of our grandmother’s era. A reminder that in the realm of bridal fashion, classic is often the epitome of elegance.

4. Fringed Fever

This season, fringe took center stage in various forms, including sequined, leather, and knit variations, offering limitless options to infuse playfulness and intrigue onto any wedding dance floor—we highly recommend a fringed number for that extra dash of fun!

5. Navy Blue Nod

Our new favorite neutral this season, and clearly a favorite of designers too, navy was everywhere! Complementing other standout colors of the season, such as burgundy, pink, and green, navy stands as a timeless and clean choice for weddings, be it for the MOB, your future hubby, bridal party, and beyond.

6. Cascading Capes

Nothing is chicer than a cape, and we are thrilled to see the style dominating runways this season. Whether it be outerwear or acting as a train, a cape adds dimension and grace to any look.

7. Bridal Moments We Loved

Once again, we were tickled pink to see that the European designers continued to grace their runways with bridal-inspired looks for the modern bride. Bookmark any of these options for your upcoming nuptials, fall brides!
