Lela Rose Spring 2019 Has Plenty of Options for Those Who Don’t Want a Traditional Bridal Dress

By Patricia Garcia

There are lots of brides out there who want to wear something white (there’s a reason why it’s such a universally flattering color, after all), but with a modern twist. Enter Lela Rose’s Spring 2019 bridal offering.

For her latest collection, Rose showed a number of fresh silhouettes and fabrics that heavily relied on floral matelassé and embroidery. For those planning on tying the knot at City Hall, there’s a fabulous two pieced, strapless suit that certainly fits the bill. For boho brides, a flapper-esque, floor-length gown in white crocheted fabric will be a clear favorite. And, for those who want something classic but still somewhat unexpected, Rose’s satin ball gown with a dramatic bow in the front is undoubtedly the one.

As for what we loved in the collection? This season, just like last, the accessories really caught our eye. For fall 2018, we were all about the fabric, flower-shaped earrings each model wore. This time, the delicate yet edgy white fabric chokers tied at the backs of the models’ necks were total head-turners. Daring brides: This is the accessory you’ve been looking for!
